  7. i don't believe that this should be an automatic inference. if we go through the scheme of the exam then we will note that the areas have to notified by the government. As of now, the areas like mewat have been notified as difficult areas for the limited purpose of financial incentives to doctors. It is for the first time that this exam is being held. The conditions that are stated in this are being disclosed for the first time. These conditions will have to be integrated with the state post graduation policy.

  11. Let us be practical. The association has built up this website with such immense amount of information contained in it.They have provided a link on it regarding NEET. They have provided an open forum for discussion regarding it. So , we can safely be assured that the association is watching the issue. And i am sure they will be concerned that is why they have made so much efforts.
Now, i agree with one of the posts above that we should represent our views, problems, apprehensions and suggested solutions from our side to the association through the district bodies. After all it is our association, our website, our profession and our career. So how come it is not our responsibility?
And I wll take the oppurtinity to thank the association for providing us with this website. Now I can find information in minutes that earlier used to take days.
And, will please som body guide me how to join this website so that i can post my comments by my name and not as anonymous?

  14. hi from some source i heard incentive marks will be given only for those who are above 5 years of experience. from 5 years onwards means person with 6 yrs servics(5+1) will get 10%, with 7 yrs *(5+2)will get 20% like so,. can any1 got msg like this

  15. it is the prerogative of the government to decide on the criteria for incentive marks. And the government will want to utilize the opportunity to make conditions which encourage doctors to remain in service and try to use the policy of rewarding those who have been service for a longer period of time. after all, that is the basic purpose of having this policy of giving these incentive marks.we must keep our ears open for any such news but at the same time we must not give undue credence to unsubstantiated rumours.

  16. i agree. And by the way, what is wrong if the government wants to make such a decision?

  17. bull shit...wen there is 50%diploma seats reservation is there for those wit >3yrs experience, then its nt good idea to give grace marks for those wit >5yrs experience...so grace marks wil be given from 1yr of service only n with that has to compete in general category if v want master degree. this is what i understood from gazette notifi of union govt. bt doubt comes where it has mentioned, The reservation of seats in medical colleges/institutions for respective
categories shall be as per applicable laws prevailing in States/ Union Territories. so what happen to existing inservice quotq of state govts. will it be there along with 50% reser in diploma seats(looks impossible" double quota). so may be existing inservice q' will be replaced by new system n to get master degree has to compete in open catego with the sheild of grace marks...

  18. ya for this reason also tamil nadu is protesting aganist neetpg...

  19. is it not the case that 50% of diploma seats of "central pool" will be reserved for in service candidates and as far as the 50% seats of "state pool"(both degree and diploma), the laws applicable in that state will continue to be in force as well? are these not two separate pools without any overlapping?

  20. Any notification by govt regarding incentive yet....?
